Discover Andorra
Andorra lies in the Pyrenees between France and Spain. Mountain valleys organise its settlements, routes and landscape. The country's small size does not mean that its individual parishes and towns are interchangeable.

A network of valleys
Built-up areas follow the limited space around rivers and lower slopes. Andorra la Vella, Escaldes-Engordany and Encamp illustrate different positions within this connected mountain setting.
Town and parish
Several names refer both to a settlement and to a wider parish. That distinction matters when describing population or geographical extent. Modern shopping streets, historic village cores and higher mountain areas can all belong to the same administrative unit while remaining different places on the ground.
